4TH INTERNATIONAL ANTALYA GEOGRAPHICAL MARKERS SEMINAR

4th International Antalya Geographical Markers Seminar was held at the Kervansaray Hotel in Antalya on the 27th and 28th of October, 2016. The opening speech of the seminar was made by Antalya Chamber of Commerce Chairman Ali Çandır.
Deputy Secretary General Melike Ertekin, Izzet Ercelen fom Research Project and Business Development Branch attended representing the Istanbul Commodity Exchange. Many guests from the Chambers and Stock Exchanges in Turkey, as well as the European Union's Geographical Signs Authority Branka Tome, President of YUCITA Professor. Dr. Yavuz Tekelioğlu, Abdelwahed el Aazoum from the Organization of International Geographical Signage Network (OriGIn), Pellissier Jean-Paul from CIHEAM France and Elif Betül Akın from the Turkish Patent Institute (Brand Department Head) participated and made various presentations on the geographical signs.
On the last day of the seminar participants also visited the Antalya Museum in YOREX and later in the afternoon.
